Concepts can be formed recursively.

The conceptual universe is unique in that concepts can reference concepts. In particular, a given concept can reference other concepts: concepts (as with anything else) cannot reference themselves. Further, this process must be mediated by symbols, through which concepts are represented in the perceptual universe.
